ABOUT US
Korene Graham is passionate about creating a joyful and fun learning experience for her students. She has been in education for over 20 years. She studied English in college and earned a B.S. degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Education at California State University, Northridge. Korene has enjoyed teaching in a wide variety of public, private and homeschool classrooms. She sees the value in each child and teaches in a way that is hands on and inspiring. It is her desire that each student feels intelligent, important and cared for.

Jyl Fearn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education with a minor in Art from the California State University of Northridge, as well as a multiple subject teaching credential in Special Education. She has experience in teaching all grade levels (K-12th). Jyl and her husband, Leif, made the decision to homeschool their two children, Elle and Blake. During that time, Jyl helped start a local homeschool co-op. She strives to bring joy into the learning process by using multi modality learning in the classroom. Her hope for Embark Education is to bring connection in a community of homeschoolers who can enjoy learning alongside one another.
